When the matter is called for hearing, learned counsel for the alleged contemnor hands over a photocopy of a purported statement of accounts, indicating that the due amount in lieu of Swantantrata Sainik Samman Pension, as directed by this court, has already been credited to the bank account of the petitioner till December, 2021.

However, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a week's time for taking appropriate instructions from his client in that regard.

Accordingly, the matter is adjourned till January 27, 2022.

The photocopy of statement of accounts handed over on behalf of the alleged contemnor be kept on record. (Sabyasachi Bhattacharyya, J.)
