A receipt has been produced before this Court showing deposit of Rs. 1,54,863/- on account of the charges required for demolition of the unauthorized portion of the subject premises.

As the demolition cost has already been paid by the person responsible for making unauthorized construction, accordingly, the Kolkata Municipal Corporation shall proceed to demolish the said construction at the earliest but positively by April 20, 2023.

The Officer-in-Charge, Bowbazar Police Station is directed to render all necessary help and assistance to the men and agents of the Kolkata Municipal

Corporation at the time of demolition of the unauthorized structure, if sought for.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
