Mr. Sayed Julfikar Ali .....for the petitioners Mr. Ayan Banerjee ...for the State Mr. Siddhartha Lahiri, Mr. Debraj Dutta ...for the respondent no.5 The petitioner is aggrieved by nonconsideration of representation made to the Inspector General of Registration, Government of West Bengal by the petitioners. By way of the representation dated September 21, 2021, the petitioners have sought a direction upon the Registrar of Assurances-III, Kolkata, to execute and register a deed of revocation of power of attorney dated January 28, 2016.

The revocation or otherwise power of attorney, is of no consequence before the Inspector General of Registration. The revocation is between the petitioners and the respective attorney.

This Court is of the view that the dispute between the private respondent and the

petitioners is purely civil in nature, and the State authorities have no role to play in the matter. Hence, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of without any order.

Leave is however reserved to the petitioners to approach any appropriate civil forum in this regard.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
