Siddiqui, Mr. Debashis Ghosh, Advocates ... for the State The petitioner has approached the Court with the grievance that in respect of Lodhan Gram Panchayat, Post Office and Police Station Goalpokher, District Uttar Dinajpur, a survey was conducted for extending the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-G. But in that Survey, by mistake, the names of 197 beneficiaries have been left out and have not been sent to the higher authorities from the office of the Block Development Officer of Goalpokher-I, as their names are missing in the official list. It is pointed out that the representation dated 07.10.2021 has been made to the Block Development Officer and the prayer in the petition is to issue a direction to consider the representation, but the said representation does not contain the names and details of persons who have been left out.

In this view of the matter, we deem it proper to give an opportunity to the petitioner to file a fresh representation along with the requisite details before the respondent No.3 Block Development Officer.

WPA (P) 311 of 2021 Mr. Banerjee, learned Senior Standing Counsel appearing for the State has fairly stated that if such a representation is filed, the same will be duly considered within time.

Hence, the petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to file an appropriate, detailed and comprehensive representation/application before the respondent No.3 with full particulars of the persons who have been left out, though eligible. On filing such a representation, the respondent No.3 will duly examine it and take an appropriate decision in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible probably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the representation/application.

The petition is accordingly disposed of.
