The writ petitioner complains of alleged inaction on the part of the Kashipur Police Station in respect of encroachment on his land by the private respondent. The O. C., Kashipur Police Station has filed a report dated 30.01.2023 and the same is taken on record. It appears that on the petitioner's complaint, FIR No. 17 of 2023 dated 10.01.2023 under Sections 420/406 of the IPC has been registered.

Let the investigation be completed in the said FIR as expeditiously as possible.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
