Perused the compliance report. The order dated September 7, 2023 passed by the Deputy Commissioner-II, Howrah Municipal Corporation indicates that the writ petitioner/applicant is entitled to further payment of Rs.10,96,575/-. It is further stated that the funds shall be released by the Urban Development and Municipal Affairs Department, Government of West Bengal.

It is submitted that the Howrah Municipal Corporation has already approached the concerned department for release of funds. In my view, that order of this court has been complied with.

It is expected that the claim of the applicant shall be liquidated on an urgent basis preferably with four months from date.

Under such circumstances, the contempt application is disposed of. The contempt proceedings are dropped.[ (Shampa Sarkar, J.)
