Matter is heard in presence of the learned advocates representing the petitioner, State respondents and West Bengal Central School Service Commission.

The grievance of the petitioner relates to inability of the concerned authority of West Bengal Central School Service Commission to provide certain information concerning 1st State Level Selection Test (AT), 2016 (Upper Primary) conducted by the West Bengal Central School Service Commission. 3.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that by sending the letter dated 24th June, 2022 information was denied to be provided to the petitioner by the Assistant Secretary & SPIO West Bengal Central School Service Commission on the

plea CBI took possession and control of the data room of the office on 19th May, 2022. Petitioner prays for supply of information due to changed circumstances.

It appears from the submissions made on behalf of the parties that 1st SLST (AT), 2016 (Upper Primary) is still continuing and selection process is not complete.

Due to changed circumstances it is also found from the submissions made on behalf of the respondent authorities that data room of the office of the West Bengal Central School Service Commission is at present not under possession of CBI Authority. 6.

Therefore, concerned authority of West Bengal Central School Service Commission is directed to provide information as sought for by the petitioner by submitting application under Right to Information Act, 2005 within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order. 7.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

However, there shall be no order as to costs. 9.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned Advocates for the parties on the usual undertakings.
