The petitioner has already been given the benefit of the revised pension including gratuity.

The petitioner prays for grant of interest on account of the alleged delay in making payment. It appears that the revision was in the year 2019 with effect from 2016. The petitioner applied for the revision in the year 2020 and the same was paid in 2021.

There is hardly any delay on the part of the respondents in disbursing the benefit of revision to the petitioner.

In view of the above, no further order is required to be passed in the writ petition.

The supplementary affidavit filed on behalf of the petitioner annexing sanction of the revised Pension Payment Order, gratuity and commuted value of pension as per ROPA 2019 in Court today be retained with the records.

The instruction given by the Block Development Officer, Baruipur, South 24-Parganas dated 17th February, 2022 be also retained with the records. The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
