1. The learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and they have been falsely implicated. It is further submitted that the petitioners have been assaulted by the de facto complainant and his family members.

2. The learned Counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

3. Considering the materials available in the case diary, the statement of the de facto complainant directly implicating the petitioners in the commission of the alleged offence and having regard to the fact that the injury is grievous in nature, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
