1. An application has been made by the writ petitioner before the respondent no.5 that is West Bengal Pharmacy Council for her registration under Section 32 (2) of the Pharmacy Act, 1948. There is no date mentioned in the copy of the application as annexed to the writ petitioner. It is learnt from Mr. Dutta, appearing for the writ petitioner, that date of the application is October 8, 2021.

2. Be that as it may, since it is learnt that the application for registration as above filed by the writ petitioner is still pending before the concerned authority, this Court finds it proper to

direct the concerned authority, that is, respondent no.5, to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible but not later than a period of three weeks from the date of service or copy of this order. The concerned respondent authority shall grant an opportunity of hearing to the writ petitioner as well as other interested persons as it may deem fit and proper since this Court has not gone into the merits of the case. The points are kept open for determination by respondent no.5.

3. The writ petition being WPA 18557 of 2021 is disposed of.

4. The petitioner as well as other persons who may be participating in the hearing process before the respondent no.5, shall be allowed to rely on and submit copies of documents, as they rely on to substantiate the case.

5. Urgent Xerox Photostat certfied copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all legal formalities.
