Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is enjoying and is in possession of a property and the private respondents are threatening to dispossess the petitioner from such property.

Learned counsel appearing for the police authorities submits that necessary steps have been taken under Section 126 of BNSS Act on 19.07.2024. Heard the learned counsel for the parties at length.

The police authorities shall keep a strict vigil at the locale as well as the property in question and ensure that no breach of peace takes place. The surveillance shall also include frequent visits by police patrols as and when required. The police authorities shall ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioner and his family members.

With the above directions the writ petition being WPA 18271 of 2024 is disposed of.

No order as to costs.
