Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the private respondents being respondent nos.7 and 8 have looted the shop of the petitioners. On the basis of G.D.E./complaint dated 15.03.2024 and 29.04.2024 an investigations has been initiated by the police but no steps have been taken by the police authorities so far.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner further submits that the petitioners are getting threat calls regularly from the respondent nos.7 and 8. Learned counsel appearing for the State files a report. Learned counsel submits that all necessary steps have been taken on the basis of complaint filed by the petitioners.

Heard learned counsels appearing for the parties. The Inspector-in-Charge of Bakultala/Joynagar Police Station, District - South 24-Parganas is directed to keep a sharp vigil at the locale, more particularly, to the property in question and to ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioners or their family members. The Writ Petition being WPA 18268 of 2024 is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
