Mr. Diptangshu Basu ...For the Petitioner Mr. Sanjay Bardhan Mr. Palash Chandra Majhi ...For the State Having heard the learned advocates appearing for the petitioner and the State and having considering the fact that commercial quantity of contraband was seized from the possession of the petitioner, we are of the view that the petitioner is unable to overcome the restriction under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, 1985.

The application for bail is rejected.

However, considering the fact that the police are yet to submit the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report before the jurisdictional Court, we direct the police to do so as expeditiously as possible and preferably on the next date fixed before the jurisdictional Court. CRM 7654 of 2021 is accordingly dismissed.
