Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits his bail prayer was rejected in June 2022. We have considered the materials on record. On the leading statement of the petitioner and co-accused dead-body of the victim was recovered.

Hence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner on merits.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. With regard to prayer for bail on the score of poor health of the petitioner, we observe necessary medical attention be extended to the petitioner in the correctional home as and when required. (Ananya Bandyopadhyay, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
