The receipt showing payment of a sum of Rs.99,330/- to the petitioner no.1 Srinibas Mahato towards payment of interest on arrears and sum of Rs.9,54,104/- on account of arrears for the period 10th August, 2010 to 28th February, 2023 has been placed before this Court.

The petitioner no.2 Yudhisthir Bauri has been paid a sum of Rs.20,13,885/- on account of arrears for the period 10th August, 2010 to 28th February, 2023 and Rs. 2,12,178/- on account of interest on arrear.

The petitioner submits that up to date interest on account of the delayed payment has not been paid. As it appears that there has been substantial compliance of the order passed by the Court in the year 2020, accordingly, contempt application stands disposed of.

The instruction forwarded by the Additional Executive Officer, Purulia Zilla Parishad be retained with the records.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
