Having heard the learned advocates for the respective parties and upon perusal of the documents, it appears that there are civil suits pending between the parties and there is also a proceeding before the learned Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal. Clearly the dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents, is with regard to right, title and possession in respect of that land which according to the State respondents, is a vested land.

As there is a subsisting order of status quo with regard to the nature, character and possession of the property in question till the disposal of the suit, the police authorities shall maintain peace, keep a vigil and implement the order of status quo in its letter and spirit, till the same is operative.

The allegations of the petitioner with regard to the violation of the ad interim order etc. are matters of evidence which has to be decided by the learned civil court.

The petitioner is at liberty to take appropriate steps in accordance with law.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
