1. This public interest writ petition has been filed to annul or cancel the patta granted in favour of the respondent nos. 9 to 12.

2. Such prayer cannot be entertained since under the provisions of the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955, if grant of patta has to be challenged, there are specified remedies.

3. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed.
