AGP Mr Somnath Naskar Mr. Alok Banerjee ..... For the State respondents An application was presented to the B.L. & L.R.O. seeking a correction of the Record of Rights in respect of certain lands. Despite receiving the application, it was not attended to, which compelled the petitioner to file an Original Application (in short, OA) No. 165 of 2024. By an order dated 31.03.2023, this OA was disposed of with a direction upon the B.L. & L.R.O. to dispose of the Miscellaneous Case No. 06 of 2016 by the end of June 2024. Challenging the order dated 31.03.2023, the present writ petition has been presented.

Mr. Mukherjee submits, upon instruction, that the Misc. Case 06 of 2016 will be disposed of within 2 (two) months from date.

In view of such submission made by Mr. Mukherjee, no further interference is called for. Consequently, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs.
