Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner places a letter dated 28th September, 2021 written to the Chairman and Secretary, State Transport Authority with regard to an objection raised by the petitioner against a permit being issued to a vehicle for plying in a particular route. Learned counsel submits that neither of the respondents has taken a decision of the matter. The state is represented.

The respondent no. 4, the Secretary, State Transport Authority is directed to take a reasoned decision by hearing all concerned parties including the petitioner within three weeks from date.

A copy of the decision shall be given to the petitioner within a week from date on which such decision is taken.

WPA 18620 of 2021 is disposed of in terms of the above decision.
