Petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application upon Mr. Arijit Ganguly, learned advocate who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. His appointment may be regularized by the concerned Authorities in due course. Record of this revisional application reveals that charge has already been framed against the present petitioners.

The proceedings arising out of Krishnagar Women Police Station Case No. 47 of 2021 dated 20.08.2021 is pending before learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Krishnagar, Nadia.

I have perused the documents, which includes the statement under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and on an appreciation of the same, I am of the opinion that at this stage there is no scope for interference for invoking the jurisdiction under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in respect of

the termination of the proceedings.

Petitioners would be at liberty to canvas all the points advanced in the present revisional application in course of crossexamination of the witnesses concerned and also at the stage of final arguments of the case. The learned trial court, however, is directed to fix on and from February, 2024 at least one date in a month so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. With the aforesaid observations, the present revisional application being CRR 2714 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of. All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court.
