For the Petitioners Though the petitioners initially sought quashing of proceedings being G.R. case no. 1975 of 2018 pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nadia, the petitioners presently seek expeditious disposal of the proceeding. Therefore the matter can be taken up for consideration without service of notice upon the opposite parties. The opposite parties shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case. It appears from the record that charge was framed on 4th May, 2022 and thereafter despite several dates being fixed for examination of witnesses, no witness has turned up. Under such circumstances, the learned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within one year from the next date of hearing fixed before him without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

The revisional application is disposed of.
