The petitioner is in custody for about three years. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no nexus with the kingpin of the alleged offence who may be a member of an extremist group. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. I have considered the material on record. A pen drive was recovered from the house of the petitioner pursuant to his leading statement. The material extracted from the pen drive implicates the petitioner in the alleged crime. Trial was delayed for about 11⁄2 years at the behest of the petitioner. Witnesses are yet to be examined.

Considering gravity of the offence and prima facie involvement of the petitioner therein, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

The bail application is disposed of.
