Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that one of the co-accused was granted bail. He submits that given the period of detention of the petitioner, prayer for bail should be considered.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that commercial quantity of narcotic was seized from the possession of the petitioner.

Considering that commercial quantity of narcotic was seized from the possession of the petitioner, we are of the view that the petitioner is unable to overcome the restrictions under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, 1985. Consequently, the prayer for bail is rejected.

CRM 7690 of 2021 is, accordingly dismissed.
