Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner is taken on record.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been employed as Assistant Teacher of Sanskrit in Baniban Jadurberia Vidyapity, High School which is 70 kms. away from her residence and she has been serving in the said school for the 14 years. To that effect, the petitioner submitted a transfer application with the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Howrah which was dated 03.06.2022 and was received by the said office on 16.06.2022. 3.

Learned advocates for the respondent authorities are present.

In view of the plight expressed by the petitioner, I direct the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Howrah, the respondent no.4 herein, to consider

the application of the petitioner in accordance with law preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Needless to mention that in the event the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Howrah decides in favour of the petitioner, she shall immediately forward the records including his decision to the Chairman, School Service Commission shall take a decision on such issue as expeditiously as possible but positively within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the papers from the concerned D.I. after granting an opportunity of hearing.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 17978 of 2022 is disposed of.

Pending connected applications, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
