This revisional application has been preferred seeking a direction upon FRIDAY COURT : MB-07 ITEM : AD-27 STATUS : DO BENCH ID : 266057 AR : NANDY the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Second Court, Baruipur, South 24-Parganas to dispose of G.R. Case No. 3996 of 2022 expeditiously.

Ms. Kundu, learned Advocate representing the petitioner submits that the based on a complaint the petitioner was falsely implicated in this case. However, the petitioner wants to face the trial so that he can prove his innocence. However, she submits that in this case, three years have elapsed but till date, trial has not been commenced and no witness has come. She submits that to enforce the appearance of the witnesses, warrant of arrest was issued but no further step has been taken. She prays for a direction so that the case is disposed of expeditiously. 3.

Having heard the learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner and upon perusal of the materials-on-record, I am of the view that there is no use of keeping this revisional application pending. I also do not find any impediment in accepting such an innocuous prayer of the petitioner.

In view of this, the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Second Court, Baruipur, South 24-Parganas is directed to made sincere efforts to dispose of G.R. Case No. 3996 of 2022 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period eight weeks from the next date of hearing i.e. 09.10.2025.
