Petitioner is aggrieved by that fact that in spite 06.02.2025 Court No. 35 Item No.18 Rakib of the direction passed by the learned CJM, Hooghly to cause further investigation of the case arising out of Chinsurah PS case no. 652/22, there has been no progress in the investigation.

Mr. Ganguly, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State submits a report. Report reflects that the officers have taken steps and the final outcome of the supplementary report to be submitted before the jurisdictional Court is not because of the investigating officer not exerting any efforts but are dependent on offices who are not within the control of the investigating officer. Repeated reminders have been sent by the investigating officer. If in course of persuasion with the authorities who are not responding to the investigating officer he feels that the assistance of superior officer is required for informing the concerned department or offices, in that case the

investigating officer would seek assistance of the Deputy Commissioner in-charge of Chinsurah Police Station. The Deputy Commissioner would send necessary communication to the departments/offices for sending their reports and/or their finding so that the investigating officer within a reasonable period of time can arrive at its own finding.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 18405 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
