Though he was provided with the other retiral dues, leave encashment benefit has not yet been accorded to her. The petitioner made a representation before the Director of Public Instructions on June 3, 2023 for release her leave encashment benefit, and in turn, the Director of Public Instruction sought for certain clarifications from the college by his letter dated March 23, 2023.

Considering the above facts, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the college to respond to the queries raised by the Director of Public Instruction within a period of two weeks from the date of communication of this order. Once the Director of Public

Instruction receives the response from the college, it shall decide the claim of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of two months thereafter.

The Director of Public Instructions shall be at liberty to hear the petitioner as well as the college in arriving at his decision. The reasoned order should be communicated to the petitioner within one-week thereafter. With the aforesaid directions, WPA 17582 of 2023 is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
