It appears that the petitioner intended to participate in a written test scheduled on 27.08.2023 for the post of Librarian after condoning his age bar.

Since the said written test has already taken place, this Court is of the view that the writ petition has become infructuous. In any event, the issue involved in the writ petition is covered by the judgment dated 24.08.2023 passed in WPA 14563 of 2023 (Sannyasi Singha vs. State of West Bengal & Ors.) wherein a similar prayer was not entertained by this Court.

Accordingly, the instant writ petition stands dismissed. There will be however no order as to costs.

Urgent certified photostat copy of this order, if applied for, shall be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible on compliance of all necessary formalities.
