1. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite making payment of the quoted amount for obtaining new electricity connection, CESC Limited is not providing the connection to the petitioner.

2. Learned advocate representing the CESC Limited produces letters dated 5th March, 2024, 29th April, 2024, 9th May, 2024 and 3rd June, 2024 addressed to the petitioner clearly disclosing the formalities required to be complied with by the petitioner for providing the new connection.

3. CESC Limited is agreeable to give the new connection provided the formalities are complied with.

4. In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing CESC Limited to provide connection to the petitioner within a period

of four weeks from the date of compliance of all necessary formalities.

5. It will be open for CESC Limited to seek necessary police assistance at the time of effecting the supply subject to the payment of cost by the petitioner.

6. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be kept with the records.

7. The writ petition stands disposed of.

8. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
