... petitioners Mr. Arijit Ganguly, Mr. Sandip Chakraborty ....for the State The revisional application was preferred for quashing the proceedings relating to Murshidabad Police Station Case No.171 of 2008 dated 09.12.2008, then pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd Court, Lalbagh, District: Murshidabad. Earlier, by an order dated 2nd of August, 2021, a report was called for furnishing information regarding present status of the case. Report has been submitted by the Inspector-in-Charge, Murshidabad Police Station.

The report so submitted be kept with the record. The said report dated 10.08.2021, reflects that trial of the case is in progress and the next date has been fixed for evidence on 28th July, 2022.

As the petitioners approached this Court at the stage when the chargesheet was only submitted and the present stage has progressed for recording of evidence, I am of the view that no interference is called for at this belated stage. Accordingly, C.R.R.2904 of 2011 is dismissed. Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.
