158 CRR No. 2990 of 2024 In Re: Sukh Karma Distributors Mr. M. L. Podder ... For the Petitioner Since the innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of Case no. CS-41984 of 2021 pending before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 11th Court, Calcutta presently redesignated as Judicial Magistrate, 11th Court, Calcutta, the matter may be considered without service of notice upon the opposite parties. The opposite parties shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case. It appears from the record that the matter is pending before the learned trial Court since 2021 and dates are being fixed for recording evidence.

In view of the above, the learned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within one year from the next date of hearing fixed before him without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

The revisional application is disposed of.
