The writ petitioner is an advocate of this Court and claims that she was arrested, taken into custody and has suffered detention for over 86 days.

The petitioner complains that the police have not complied with the requirements stipulated by the Supreme Court in D.K. Basu Vs. State of West Bengal reported in AIR 1997 SC 610.

The petitioner therefore seeks disciplinary action against the police officials of the Haridevpur Police Station.

It appears from the records that the writ petitioner has not made any representation to the Commissioner of Police or the appropriate authority. In that view of the matter, the Court finds that the writ petition to be premature.

Hence, the writ petition is disposed of without any orders.

There shall be no order as to costs.
