The petitioners' claim for payment dated May 8, 2023 (Annexure P7, p.30) on account of supply of ART medicines as per the work order being No.MMC/924 dated April 12, 2022 issued by the Principal, Midnapore Medical College, Paschim Medinipur is pending consideration before the concerned authority.

The State is unrepresented despite service. Affidavit of service is on record.

As it appears that the prayer of the petitioner is pending consideration before the respondent authority, accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Principal, Midnapore Medical College, Paschim Medinipur, the fifth respondent herein, to take a decision on the petitioners' representation in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. 4.

If the petitioners are found entitled to the relief as claimed, then necessary steps for disbursal of the same shall be taken immediately thereafter.

Learned counsel for the petitioners shall forward

a copy of the representation dated May 8, 2023 along with all supporting documents to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating this order.
