1. Affidavit of service filed be kept with the record.

The writ application has been preferred praying for direction upon the respondent and each of them to conclude the Selection Process and engage the petitioner as Fair Price Shop Dealer at Bardeshia, Shanberiabada near Sonberia Jame Masjid under Barasat Sub-Division, District - North 24 Parganas.

3. In course of hearing, the Learned Counsel for the State submits that

though there has been a case made against the private respondents, the petitioner has not made the private respondents a party. The Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage his only relief prayed for is that his representation at page 34, being 'Annexure -P/6' be disposed of in accordance with law by the SubDivisional Controller (Food & Supplies) being the respondent no.4 herein.

4. It is further submitted by the petitioner that the said authority may also hear the person who has already been selected for the issuance of the said license.

5. It is further submitted by the Learned Counsel for the State that the selection process has not yet been completed and is under process.

6. Considering the said facts, it is directed that the respondent no.4 shall dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 18.07.2025, on hearing the parties. The representation shall be disposed of within 60 days from the date of this order by passing a reasoned order in accordance with law.

7. A short date has been granted for the reason that the selection process should not be stalled.

8. The Writ application stands disposed of.

9. Applications, if any, connected thereto stand disposed of consequently.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis upon compliance of all formalities.
