The present revisional application was preferred challenging the continuance of Sonarpur P. S. Case No. 973 of 2020. Petitioner approached this court immediately after the chargesheet was submitted before the jurisdictional court on or about 31st December, 2023. However, none of the documents under Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure have been enclosed along with the revisional application.

Having regard to the same, I direct that the petitioner would be liberty to canvass such point at the appropriate stage of consideration of charges before the jurisdictional court. If any such application for discharge is preferred, the learned jurisdictional Magistrate would dispose of the same in accordance with law. With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 2719 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending any other application, if any, are hereby disposed of. The report submitted by concerned Officer of the Sonarpur P.S, Baruipur Police District submitted by the learned advocate for the State be kept with the record.
