The present writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the concerned Block Land & Land Reforms Officer (in short "BL & LRO") not to alter the entry or entries in the record of rights based on a deed of sale dated 10th September, 2021, which, according to the petitioner, is a forged deed. In view of the availability of an efficacious alternative remedy before the appropriate West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal, I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition, and accordingly, the same is dismissed.
