Petitioner alleges against the respondent nos. 6 & 7 being the son and the daughter-in-law. According to the petitioner, he and his wife is being tortured at the behest of the private respondents. To that effect, informations have been furnished to the police authorities but the police authorities did not take any steps.

Learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that earlier a case has been registered being Haridevpur PS Case No. 212/25 dated 19.03.2025. On conclusion of investigation, charge sheet has been submitted before the jurisdictional Court. Petitioner is directed to approach the Sub-Divisional Officer under the provisions of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents

and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. The concerned Tribunal would pass necessary directions since the petitioner is apprehensive regarding the act and action of the private respondents being the son and daughter-in-law. If such an application is filed within a period of 15 days, the learned Tribunal would, at least for the causes relating to security, pass necessary directions within a period of 30 days thereafter.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 17554 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.
