The petitioner has challenged a transfer order dated July 15, 2022 in the instant writ petition. On behalf of the respondents a transfer amendment order dated August 8, 2022 has been produced. It appears from the said transfer amendment order that the transfer of the petitioner, which is under challenge in the instant writ petition have not been implemented as per the order dated July 15, 2020 and instead thereof by the transfer amendment order dated August 8, 2022 the petitioner has been transferred from the same battalion wherein he was posted i.e 169 Bn. also to the same Battalion. In view of such transfer amendment order the cause of action, if any, on the basis whereof the petitioner approached this Court has completely changed. The petition, therefore, has become ineffective and infructuous due to subsequent event.

Keeping the writ petition pending will serve no fruitful purpose.

The writ petition is disposed of without any further order and costs.
