Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 154 days and is unnecessarily being detained after the investigation has been concluded.

Learned advocate for the State submits that there are seven accused persons who have been found to be involved in the offence and there is every possibility of the trial commencing very soon. As such, release of the petitioner would jeopardize the trial of the case.

I have considered the records of the case. I find that the case is at the stage of supply of copies.

Having considered the same, I am of the opinion that the petitioner be released on bail after the stage of consideration of charges are over on such terms and conditions as the learned Special Court deems fit and proper for ensuring the presence of the accused / petitioner.

Accordingly, CRM(NDPS) 970 of 2025 is disposed of. 6.

All parties shall act on the basis of server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 7.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
