The petitioner complains that the private respondents have effected construction that blocks the ingress and egress into her residence.

It is alleged that the private respondents are carrying on their business in semi-permanent structures blocking ingress and egress to her land. Some of the private respondents have entered into a settlement with the petitioner and have moved out. The other private respondents submits that their businesses are not in any way obstructing the petitioner's land. The petitioner may approach the authorities and owners of the land on which the private respondents are carrying on their businesses.

Kolaghat Town Police Station shall ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area. Any other dispute as regards the easement to the petitioner's land may be taken up before the appropriate Civil or statutory forum.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

Instructions of the Officer-in-charge, Kolghat Town Police Station dated 23rd August, 2022 addressed to the Government Pleader, High Court, Calcutta be taken on record.

There will be no order as to costs.
