Manna ... for the State The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail on account of a parity with that of the other co-accused who was granted anticipatory bail on September 29, 2021 by this court in CRM No.3370 of 2021. Learned advocate for the State draws the attention of this court to the charge-sheet filed against the petitioner. He submits that the charge against the petitioner, inter alia, is under section 302 IPC. The co-accused granted anticipatory bail on September 29, 2021 was found to be named only under section 498A/34 IPC read with section 3/ 4 Dowry Prohibition Act.
Learned advocate for the State submits that the said co-accused who was granted bail was named in the charge-sheet inter alia under section 302 IPC and that the State is taking steps for cancellation of bail against the said co-accused.
Considering the fact that the petitioner is named in the chargessheet inter alia under section 302 IPC and considering the gravity of the offences and the complicity of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant the petitioner anticipatory bail.
CRM No.7723 of 2021 is thus dismissed.
