For the State Report submitted by the State is taken on record. The bail prayer of the petitioner was turned down by this Court as recently as on May 14, 2025. It appears from the report that the prosecution proposes to examine 40 witnesses out of whom 4 witnesses have been examined. According to the assessment of the prosecution, subject to the convenience of the learned trial Court and availability of witnesses, the examination of the remaining witnesses would reasonably be completed within a period of approximately 9 months.

On merits, the petitioner does not deserve a favourable order at this stage.

In view of the above, the prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

Learned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties in the light of the submission made on behalf of the State.

The application for bail is disposed of.
