The petitioner informed the incidents of threats, abuse and disturbances to the local police station, but the police authorities did not take any action.

Sengupta, learned Senior Government Advocate, appears on behalf of the State and submits that the police authorities have taken steps by way of drawing up a proceeding under Section

126 of the BNSS, strict vigil has been kept by the police authorities also.

Having considered the nature of the accusations made by the petitioner, I am of the view that the petitioner should approach the jurisdictional civil court and/or the criminal court for necessary remedies sought for.

In the meantime, the police authorities would ensure that no breach of peace and tranquility takes place as also no untoward incident results because of the inimical relationship existing between the parties.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 18463 of 2024 is disposed of.
