The grievance of the petitioners is directed against non-consideration of the representation filed by the petitioners for removal of the High Tension Line upon the land of the petitioners. It is submitted by the petitioner that in view of the above High Tension Line drawn upon the land of the petitioner, the petitioner is suffering immense loss, prejudice and injury.

On behalf of the WBSETCL it is submitted that by a recent decision dated 16 June 2025, the representation of the petitioner has been duly considered and rejected.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of both the parties, WPA 17544 of 2025 stands disposed of by directing the concerned District Magistrate

having jurisdiction to explore a viable option if possible to resolve the grievance of the petitioner. 4.

It is made clear that there has been no expression on the merits of the case and all issues are left open to be decided by the District Magistrate in accordance with law.

It is clarified that the District Magistrate in carrying out the above exercise shall hear WBSETCL. The above exercise is to be completed within a period of four weeks from communication of this order.
