Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this revisional application upon Ms. Manisha Sharma, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears for the State. Her appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

The petitioner is the complainant. According to her, the case was instituted in the year 2022. Charge-sheet has already been submitted before the jurisdictional court, but for some reasons or the other there has been no progress, although the charge-sheet was submitted on 27.09.2022. The next date has been fixed by the learned trial court in the month of August 2024.

The learned trial court is directed to complete the process of consideration of charges on the said date or within a fortnight thereafter. On and from September 2024, the learned trial court would fix at least one date in a month so that the trial can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

The aforesaid directions are without prejudice to the rights of the accused person to avail his statutory remedies in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 2733 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
