The present revisional application has bee preferred for expeditious disposal in Complaint Case No. 506 of 2019 which was filed for alleged offences under Sections 323/325/406/420/506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Record of the revisional application reveals that the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bidhannagar was constantly fixing dates for hearing of the application under Section 205 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Having regard to the fact that there has been no progress in the complaint case since it was instituted in the year 2019, I direct that on the next date so fixed( i.e., 26th September, 2023), the learned trial court would complete the process relating to dispensation or exemption of the accused persons. The learned trial court would thereafter fix dates for evidence before charge as the case was initiated in the year 2019. The learned trial court is directed that the dates for evidence before charge be fixed at least once in 45 days so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion. Let the prosecution evidence before charge be

completed within 31st August, 2024. No unnecessary adjournment should be granted to either of the parties. All efforts be taken for reaching the stage of consideration of charge within the aforesaid dates so fixed.

With the aforesaid observations, the present revisional application being CRR 2914 of 2022 is disposed of. Pending any other applications are disposed of. All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. [Tirthankar Ghosh, J]
