Learned senior advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that considering the period of detention of the petitioner and considering the economic condition of the petitioner, the prayer for bail should be considered.

Learned advocate for the State draws the attention of the Court to the contents in the case diary. He submits that the case was fixed on two dates for the purpose of framing of charges but the defence did not appear.

The de facto complainant is represented.

Considering the materials in the case diary and considering the gravity of the offence and the complicity of the petitioner, therein, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

We, however, request the learned Judge in seisin of the proceedings to frame charges as expeditiously as possible. CRM 7745 is disposed of, accordingly.
