The District Inspector of Schools by his letter dated 18.03.2018, (i.e., before more than four years) wrote to the Secretary of the West Bengal Regional School Service Commission, Northern Region, Malda, stating that the application for employment of the applicant Maowar Hasnine may be considered for compassionate appointment and necessary steps may be taken. However, the Commission, Northern Region has not taken any step even after four years. Therefore, I direct the Secretary of the said Regional Commission to give an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order. After such hearing, he should pass a reasoned order within a period of one

week thereafter and will communicate the same to the petitioner immediately after passing of the order. The order should be a reasoned and speaking one.

With the above observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
