The prayer in the present writ application is innocuous. An Original Application, bearing OA No. 456 of 2012, filed by the present petitioners, is pending before the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal since the last thirteen years. 3.

It is evident that the parties are unnecessarily suffering for such long pendency of the matter. 4.

Accordingly, WPLRT 121 of 2025 is disposed of by directing the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal to dispose of OA 456 of 2012 (LRTT), pending before it, as expeditiously as possible, preferably by the end of December, 2025. 5.

No order as to costs.
