Appeal is directed against an order dated July 30, 2025 passed in WPA 15847 of 2025.

Learned Advocate appearing for the appellant submits that, the appellant used to take out a religious procession from a particular place and terminated the same at a different place. He submits that, the police authorities unilaterally changed the place and time of commencement and the termination of the procession. He submits that, the appellant and the persons who participate in such procession stand prejudicially affected.

State and the added respondents are represented. 4.

The religious procession for the year 2025 is over. 5.

Anxiety expressed on behalf of the appellant is that, the proposed route of the police would be treated as a precedent and the same would be

imposed upon the appellant to their prejudice. 6.

In the facts and circumstances of the present case, since we are not deciding as to whether or not, the proposal of the police is correct, it would be appropriate to keep the issue open.

It is clarified that the proposal for this year will not be treated as a precedent for the next year. 8.
